 Update on 2 1/2 lb
Last night we did go to the Emergency Vets....Starlight (Toby) now weighs in at just over 2 lbs. this is not good... He eats well, he is 4 years old... They did do blood work and his BG came back at 71, which in itself is low but, not low enough to cause his problem... Due to the fact that he resides at my daughters home I can not rule out that maybe he ate something... He was sedate, staggering, not focusing on you... The vet said it was possible as he looked to him as atoxic too......Gave him dextrol and some electrolights (pouch).. just have to watch him today and if something looks funky then he will have to go back to our Vet.... I plan on making an appointment just to be sure... Thats the problem with these little ones, its one thing after another....Thanks to all for your prayers and thoughts........... |
