Can you help me? My Daisy is expecting five pups. I have assisted whelping other breeds of dogs, but this will be my first litter of baby yorkies! I'm so excited... cannot even sleep... I just keep checking her. Her due date was TODAY and she's pacing a bit. I have all my supplies ready and may have to call the emergency vet because my mind is rambling... I just realized I'm not sure how close I need to "cut the cord".
Anyone know? I want to call my friend Lisa... but it's past midnight here. Help please?
Thx, Tammy |
clamp the cord about a half an inch from the puppy's body and then cut the cord . If you need help you can call me. PM me for my number.
