Default Hi there!

Can anyone help me? It's 12:30 here and my little Daisy's due date was yesterday. Her temp is 99 and steadily going down. I have experience attending with whelping of other breeds, but I'm a first-timer with Yorkies. I have taken her to the vet... we're having 5 pups... and I have all my supplies. I was sitting with her feeling the puppies move (drinking coffee) right?! and it hit me... I don't know how far from the base to cut the cord when she starts delivering her pups. OMG! There is an emergency vet I can call, or I could call my good friend Lisa (but that wouldn't be very nice of me at this early hour). Ok, I'm rambling... I'm just soooo excited. Anyone have any advice on the cord thing? I'm probably just flipping out cause I'm so excited. We don't anticipate any problems. She's a 12 pounder, we mated with a gorgeous 5 pounder, Kirby... and the vet said the pups looked small (so hopefully, no c-section!).

Help me!!! Any advice other than to switch out the coffee for vodka? LOL!

Thanks so much!!!
