)..you will be cleaning out that cage once a week or they stink. Hamsters are also nocturnal. We would hear ours playing in his wheel all night long. They need exercise or they get lame in their legs. They are also escape artists. If you do have babies ( and you probably will
) pet stores will take them if you can't find homes for them. Have fun!!! After saying all that, these pets are good for children and they can be fun...but they are work.
