Nutridrops is better because it is absorbed immediately and goes straight to the bloodstream without any digesting - its faster acting and longer lasting. You do have to order the Nutridrops and it is not usually available at a petstore so I think Nutrical or Nutristat is just fine, but definitely prefer Nutridrops if both are available. They are both basically sugar.
I use Happy Jacks Milkade and also have read about the Raspberry leaves, but have never tried them. My daughter and her family only use herbal preparations and they work so I don't think they are a con. When my daughter delivered her baby (she used Raspberry leaf tea), the midwife had an entire pharmacy of herbal preparations for various circumstances. Since I also have a granddaughter I double check everything they do and research supports it and in many cases it is better than prescription medicines.
I recently had a pup at 12 weeks under 2 pounds exposed to parvo in the same house and I give credit to Parvaid (herbal immune booster and stomach calming herbs) and Vibactra (natural herbal antibiotic), both herbal remedies for the puppy not coming down with full blown parvo. |
