Can anybody give me advice....my little boy Mac has many problems, he is very small for his age, he is one next feb....he is monorchid, and has 2 sets of teeth.
I have had him to the vet as they want to castrate him, and remove his baby teeth, however, he is very small, just under 1kilo..
He has always been small, but he does seem to have many problems..
My worry is that because he is small, would an op be safe..
My vet has suggested that they run a series of blood tests to see if he has any problems with his liver, and if it comes back with a high liver function test then he would never be able to be put to sleep for an op as it could make the liver fail, and the kidneys fail.
He does eat well, but the vet has also suggested seeing a specialist with him regarding his size...
I am wondering has anybody had any such problems, and what would you do?
He runs the risk of getting cancer if his testicle is not removed, and i feel like i am in a no win situation with him.
Any advice welcome
