When I was looking for a yorkie, I found them from $500 and up. I found a girl that was $500 near me, but honestly she didn't look like what I thought a yorkie should look like, and her parents didn't either. She was CKC registered. I found a couple of breeders asking that price, but their yorkies were not what I was looking for. Then I found my little girl Lily, she was $1400, and looked exactly what I thought a yorkie should look like, and so did her parents. She is AKC registered. She is very small too. I think as long as you get a look at the parents, the surroundings where the pup is coming from and the puppy of course it doesn't matter the price, low or high. I honestly don't know what the difference in the CKC and AKC is, but have always been told to look for AKC. I just know that around here if they were asking a low price for a yorkie, they didn't really look like a yorkie. I wish I could have found what I was looking for for $500. So go look at parents and where the pup is coming from, then decide. You may just find a good deal. |
