ewwwwww- I'm not good at this BUT if it were me - I think I'd have to go into my driver settings.....remove the monitor driver - unplug the monoitor - reboot the computer - then plug it back in and let windows find the driver again -

if you're on windows xp you can do a recover to the day before or wherever you have a date set up - mine doesn't work now but that would be what I'd try too -

That's a new one to me - very interesting but I bet VERY annoying
