My girl, Cricket, was bleeding and she had puppies 13 days ago. Well she had not bled since the day they were born and just started bleeding yesterday. Well, I took her in and had one of the vets check her this morning and she is fine! YAY! I was freaking out. He said it was normal and just to make sure it doesnt get heavy and that she is acting fine. So, she is fine and glad to be home. She HATES the vets office! LOL
On a sadder note, I took Timmy in with her.. He is my teeny boy who weighed 2 oz at birth. I weighed him today and he is 2.5 oz. Not much of a gain for him but it WAS something. He is acting weird, wont eat. I have given him glucose and he reluctantly takes it. He will not nurse. He just wants to sleep. I remove the other 3 from Cricket and put her alone with him and I pretty much put a nipple in his mouth and he just pulls away, crawls up on her a bit and sleeps...
I dont know what else to do. I hope he is just sleepy and thats all but my gut is telling me differently.
I hope I am wrong.
