Hi I am very sorry to hear of what is going on with Anne. When you go back to the vets please ask them about Atlontoaxial Instablility. This is a genitic disorder in some small breeds. I have a yorkie with it. We were told a number of times that he had a pinched nerve in his neck. That was not true. He also was fine until he was injured badly because of the disease. There is surgery that can correct it. And it can be diagnost by an x-ray of the neck. Atlontoaxial Instablitity is when the c-1 and c-2 are compressing the spinal core in which it will cause your furbaby to have a tilted head and complain if touch in the neck area. They will lose balance and could be paralyzed like my little guy. We have had surgery done to correct this. He is now learning to walk again. But please ask because this is a disease that is overly misdiagnost. If you would like more info on this you can go to
www.petplace.com and put Atlontoaxial Instablility in the search engine and it will give you all the info you should need. If you need to ask more questions please feel free to PM me and I will help as much as possible.
