LOL! We did that to my God daughter, Jessie, when she was about 3. We were wrapping her presents and kept telling her they were for my niece, Elizabeth. So, on Christmas morning when Jessie unwrapped her presents she'd step back, shake her head no, point to the present and say 'no, that's for Bizbeth!' We had a hard time convincing her they were really hers! I say lie to them and make them wait...it serves them right for snooping and next time...post a bigger spider at the shed door!
