You are so right in saying that if everyone waiting until they were financially secure to have kids - there would be very few in this world.
As far as financial help goes - you didn't get pregnant on purpose. Wherever there is assistance being offered, you should get it if you really need it. You have been a taxpayer, too. But, whether or not the "father" wants to be a part of this child's life - he has an obligation here too. If he is able to pay child support, then I would start there. I am of the mind that there are consequences for every action and if others keep you free of those consequences, they are just paving the way for you to continue to be irresponsible (JMO).
Remember there are sacrifices necessary for all good things in life. Congratulations on your little girl. |
Children and yorkies are well worth the sacrifice. we don't get to choose everything that happens to us. We only get to choose how we deal with what has been handed to us.
