Well Bella has seemed to bounce back. She stopped shaking her head, so I think you were right about the irritation. She is still having accidents. Not as frequent, but I also think this is an age thing. I had no idea about the anal gland thing!! I will ask them not to do that in the future.
I have her limited to one room access under supervision at all times. Hopefully the potty training will work itself out.
