I would recommend dog bones that last. There is a starters kit that you can get from just about anywhere. This will help their teeth stay healthy and will keep them from chewing things they are not suppose to. Just make sure they are digestable. There is a stuffed dog that has a sound of a heartbeat. I can't remember the name, but look on the fun and toys forum. I heard good things about it, but have not purchased one. I bought several petstages products when I first got Rosie and she loves them. She still plays with them. A kong or a busy buddy would be good too. You can freeze peanut butter in the kong or put cheerios in the busy buddy.
