I have not had Chai spayed yet, but I just had my cat spayed and they used a "glue" on the incision site externally and dissolvable stitches inside. I thought that was interesting. They gave me three syringes with pain medication for the three days after surgery and she wore a cone for a few days until I felt sorry enough for her to take it off.
I think the onsie is a great idea instead of the cone because it is really not the greatest.
I hope my Chai doesn't have to spend the night when she has her surgery. Was someone there with Roxie through the night? I know they are pretty out of it, but I still would feel better in case something happened that they were being watched.
Who else had to have their puppy spend the night?
