I believe some dogs do have "accidents" intentionally - Not necessary "revenge" but for attention. Jazzie is piddle pad trained but on days when I work longer at the office, she sometimes has totally clean & dry piddle pads and leaves me a "present" elsewhere.
I feel so guilty that I try to get straight home but it doesn't always workout that way.
