I have a male and a female and there are qualities about each that I like. My female is more independant and somewhat "snobby" and my male is much more affectionate. On the other hand, my male is always wanting my attention whereas my female is more laid back.
When you are chosing your puppy, I would go see them and see which ones personality and looks you like better. Of course you really cannot tell what it will look like grown when it is only a puppy. I am sure whichever one you chose you will absolutely LOVE!!!!!!!!

I also have a boy and a girl and the situation is the same. she is more independent, and will only sit with me in the evening. He, on the other hand wants to be picked up everytime he sees an emopty lap.
I love them both, and enjoy the differences. Also she is a little lady, and he is all boy.
