I would cut back a bit on the CM. I start with about a dime size amount and apply as you did. If there does not seem to be enough to get everywhere, just apply a bit more to the areas you missed. I use the spray bottle mixture only for brushing when Gracie is dry, as I heard we should never try to brush a dry coat.
