Things just work out sometimes. I have a beautiful 6 year old grandson, who was a surprise addition to our family. My son and his girlfriend had some tough times, but today they are married and have 2 other boys 2 and 1. These boys are the joy of my heart and I couldn't consider life without them. My son and Laura married when Gabe was 2 and are very much in love, have bought a new home and are the picture of a happy, healthy family. Sometimes we parents can even surprise our children when given the chance. Your parents will get so attached to this baby that it has already become a part of their life.
