				        | I just saw this and thought I would put in my 2cents! My furboy has been sleeping with us since he was 10 weeks old and he was only 3.5 lb. However, my husband is a huge man and when he is lying on his side Teddy snuggles right up next to him. One night hubby went to turn over and almost got on top of Teddy but I sensed it and moved him and quickly put my arm over him until I could get him moved out of the way. So since then I let Teddy sleep with us until I am about to fall asleep then I put him in his little pet carrier/bed right next to our bed. He seems content and safe in there but then I kept him in there at night for 1-2 weeks before I started letting him sleep with us. In the early morning I get him out and put him in the bed with us again. I just don't feel safe now letting him sleep with us all night..and I sleep deeper when he isn't in the bed. I think it all depends on your sleeping patterns and how comfortable you are with it. I have thought about moving our bed to where one side is against the wall so that I could put Teddy on the wall side next to me as I don't turn a lot like my hubby and that might be something I will do at some point in time. |
