I'm sorry to hear this....that poor little puppy had to be in pain...The vet couldn't tell at the time of injury that the puppy had a spinal injury???
Unfortunately these things happen, when a small child that doesn't know any better, gets ahold of a small animal...you can't trust the baby with an animal any more than you can trust an animal with a baby...this isn't the childs fault...the puppy/baby shouldn't have been out of your aunt's site.....sorry, but this is why I (if I bred) I would NEVER sell to a family with small children..
