Teddy went to the vet yesterday and everything is fine. He got his last bordatella shots and distempo. Well the vet asked how his paper training is going and I said good except that he occassionally goes on the floor or somewhere else. She gave me advice on what to do and she said don't say NO to him when he goes on the floor because then he will hide from me and still do it. Then she said we should take a urine sample just incase, he might have a bladder infection. However I don't think it's really necessary because he's a puppy and I know all puppies still have accidents. He's almost 5 mos. Well his bladder was empty so she said if I can bring him in later on in the week and leave him for half a day so they can get a urine sample, a full cup. Also so he can get him lyme and lepto shots. But I'm not too sure if I should. I can just take him in to get him shots but I don't want to leave him half a day for a urine sample. I don't know if I can. I worry about him too much when he is not in my care. What should I do? Do you think the urine sample is so important? Or the lepto and lyme? All these vet bills are outrageous! I hope they don't charge me for the urine sample. I feel like they want money out of me but I could be wrong
