The vet didn't give me any pain pills either. Just the pain shot right after the surgery. Honestly she didn't seem to be in all that much pain, though. Just sick to her stomach from being put under and uncomfortable.
That is wierd about them using those stitches. I'm sure the vet had good reason though. Maybe b/c she is an active dog? I specifically requested (against the recomendation of my vet) to have the disolvable stiches.
They told me not to bathe her for 10 days...it's been 10 days today, but we are waiting until Sunday just to be safe. She is VERY stinky.
