I paid 500.00 for Carley. I got her from her original breeder, after her 1st owner took her back at 6 months old. The original owner paid the breeder 1500.00 for her. When I got Carley, she was spayed and microchipped, and also pee pad trained. I felt that paying 500.00 was almost like getting a free dog, because I would have spent that in shots and microchipping and spaying for a new puppy. I still don't see how the original owner could bear to part with her, but then I try to remember that I didn't/don't know her situation and you can't know what other people are dealing with unless you have walked in their shoes. Linda, I wish you all the best in whatever your decision is and I also hope your arm heals up quickly.
