Hey Everyone.....Kathryn wants me to update you all. She will be spending the next 24 hours in the hospital for observation.

She had been complaining of pain in her lower right abdomen and after scans and x-rays and tests and such, the trauma surgeon on duty(one of the guys that helped save her aunt Cameron), said he saw a "mass" that resembled the appendix in the scans...BUT, since Kathryn had her appendix removed when she was a kid, so it is obviously something else.

His feeling is that she may have experienced some mild internal bleeding and wants to keep her for observation to make sure she is safe and make sure it doesn't get any worse. At this point he feels there is a good chance that it will rectify itself and the odds of needing surgery at this point are pretty small.
