My vet said rule of thumb to go by in rawhides is no bigger around than your little finger for small dogs. That way if they get where they can break a chunk off it can pass through their system.. I let mine have them but I put them in holders and monitor them the whole time and throw away all small pieces. The chewing of them is good for cleaning their teeth. |
