Wow, that will be quite the drive!! when are you going? You might want to avoid certain areas depending on the time of year and potentially bad weather.
I grew up in Vancouver, BC -it's absolutely beautiful there. My family is all there still and I try to get back often. I've never done the cross country drive but my hubby did - from Toronto, ON, Canada to Scottsdale, AZ. And then last year from Scottsdale, AZ to New Hampshire. He loves to drive and didn't do much sightseeing. He found those books on CD were a huge help. It sounds silly but he said you really get into them and it keeps you going. |
