BNot is absolutely right. If dogs aren't exposed to toys as puppies, they often don't have a clue what to do with them. They have to be taught.

Joey is the opposite of Jazzy. He adores toys that squeak. So, as JazzyGirl said, keep an eye on that - your pup may or may not want toys that squeaks.
