First of all, Science Diet is not a good brand of food. Most yorkies are allergic to corn and I am certain that Science Diet has corn in it. I would switch to a higher quality food that doesn't contain wheat or corn products. Any food off
this list is an EXCELLENT choice of food that you really can't go wrong with. I would also start supplementing his food with Omega 3 and 6 fatty acid supplements. Most people on this site use Missing Link supplement. It is powdery stuff that you sprinkle on their food every morning. You can get it at PetSmart.

I have been having a problem with dandruff myself. After trying SEVERAL different shampoos, I finally found one that did the trick. It is called High Cascades 4 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner. It has Emu Oil in it and it really cleared up my yorkie's dandruff. You can get it
HERE. It may seem pricey, but it is super concentrated. You have to mix it with water to dilute it so it will last you forever. You can also get a trial size
HERE.
I know firsthand how hard it is to get rid of dandruff. I was battling it for months until I discovered the combination of super premium quality food, Missing Link supplement, and that shampoo. Now his dandruff is completely cleared up!
