Gosh, I would have thought $300 because she's fairly large for a yorkie and already past the 'puppy' stage. It's hard getting a dog that's almost a year old because you automatically figure there's a reason it's being rehomed(personality, not potty trained, etc.) Maybe you could ask $500 and accept a lower offer for the right home?

Dogs can live a long time so if you're not happy being a 2 dog family, it's best to find her a home now(the older they get the harder it is). She can live 15 years, can you wait that long to be a one dog family? I don't think so.

I don't think finding her a new home is a bad thing. She's been very well taken care of and loved and you finding her a home where she will be loved more is actually a good thing. I don't understand why people just always say 'keep her' because obviously you've thought this through and have your own reasons.
