It does take them awhile sometimes. Toto isn't socialized with other animals and we have been trying for over a year with little results .... she is just very aloof and pretty much ignores them. We recently had one of her Yorkie friends, Shira, over for a few days sleepover. They actually
both lay on the sofa
at the same time!! We were elated ... they usually give each other a very wide berth!! Believe me, I know how you felt about Brutus & Vito finally warming up to each other!
