We frequently fly with Toto ... United has decided to charge her $85 each way for December this year! We have found that it depends on the attendants whether they will let you take them from under the seat, etc. They will just smile and say, "regulations say .... but I didn't see or tell you it is OK"!!! Then again, the last time I flew with Toto, the "butt" attendant wouldn't even let me give her a drink of water!! On another flight through a terrible storm, a wonderful attendant told me to take her from the bag and hold her in my arms!! So, it all depends!

I would advise anyone flying with their pet, especially during the Holidays ... bring extra "supplies" for your baby in your carry-on bag, wee wee pads, food, treats, dry blankie, etc., just in case. More than once we have encountered long delays or cancellations due to overbooked flights, weather, mechanical problems, etc. Just be prepared .... most airlines operate according to "Murphy's Law"!!! Good luck!!
