Okay, so most of you know that Mojo will be getting neutered on Monday!!!
Right before Thanksgiving!!!! - boy, I didn't plan that well, did I???
Well, there is no turning back.....if I reschedule....it will be another year before I get the nerve up to do it again!!!
Seriously though....I am not really nervous......we really LOVE and TRUST our vet. She even said that I could stay in the room and watch him!!! Has anyone done this or had the opportunity to? I think I will pass....because I can barely stand to clip his nails.....let alone to watch him get cut on his, er, uh, you know what!!!
He is getting dropped off around 9am and I get to bring him home at 3:30!!! YAY!
She said that she would do her best cosmetic neuter EVER.....HA! She gave me several "stitch" options....one w/ glue where you can't tell anything was ever done, but she said that this bothers dogs and in most cases, they mess it up - I guess the glue healing causes it to itch a lot or something???
What has everyone else had done?
They will clean his teeth (of course) and whatever else I want done....is there anything else that is needed while he is "out"???
I was toying w/ the idea of doing the microchip....but I just don't know...what is the word on that?? Any pros/cons...thoughts??!!!
We are grooming him on Saturday since he won't be able to have a full bath for awhile after this is done.
Can you think of anything else we need to think of, do, remind the vet, etc??
Oh, did you all read my other post where I talked about the Nauticles??? (sp)....the fake, er, you know, uh, testies??? The vet said she would order me some.....$1000!!! For those fake marbles.....I think not! He will still be our little manly stud, no matter what!!!
