My little man jumped out of his playpen at 13weeks. We bought him a fitted crib sheet & fastened it over the top & it eliminated the problem. However, I would suggest being right there when you first put it on. When we put it on our pup saw it as containing him & didn't even try to jump out, he just laid down & went to sleep. However, if you have a more determined little one they might try to get out in spite of it & get tangeled in it.
