Is the way you are doing your potty training now working for you? If he is consistently going on the pee pads and you are not having any problems with him, I see no reason to change anything you are doing. It is not necessarily better to schedule feed or free feed. I personally like free feeding. It is really just a matter of personal preference. If he is fine in his room with the crate door open and he comes out at night to potty, I don't see any reason to change that either. It is all a matter of personal preference. If what you are doing is working for you, changing it might really screw things up. I say, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! It sounds like you are doing a fantastic job!
