When I had mine cremated I got them back in little cedar boxes with a lock and key and a gold plate on top with their names on it.
When I had gotten my German shepherd back several years ago I was extremely disappointed. He came back in a red satin like box (it looks like a little jewelry box) and inside is a zip lock bag with his ashes. I keep talking about taking him to the crematory that is used now and having them fix it. I called and they said they would. But i just havent done it yet.
