Now Now Now............a 2 lb puppy at 7 weeks old does not mean a 10 lb puppy.
I understand this may be your experience but it is not the normal.
I released a puppy at 9 weeks who weighed 2 1/2 lbs at 8 weeks.....who at one year weighs 4 lbs...........I estimated the puppy at 7 lbs. They were not typical either.
You can not generalize people or animals. It just doesnt work.
