With the growing popularity of the yorkie breed, people are going to extremes in order to get one.
A breeder friend in town had one of her dogs stolen right out of her parked car in front of a convenience store. She chased them for at least 20 miles to another town. Sheriff's dept was called and she was able to prove the dog was hers and she filed charges.
I hope that this person gets their dog back...so sad!
