I am assuming it will go something like this....they will use the atropine and the ACE? to keep your baby stable. The gas is used to keep them sedated and allow intubation (no local is used for this). Then they will use the Telazol to keep her relaxed so she doesn't push....this is common in surgery.
Sevoflurane is the best gas available...smooth into sleep, quickest acting, smooth waking up.
I would feel comfortable with the procedure. We do surgery everyday with little complications. I would find out who is administering the anesthesia..sorry to add another worry. The vet usually induces and the tech monitors. The risk of not spaying is much more than the surgery.
This is coming from someone that would also need to be put down if something happened to my baby!!!!
You are doing the right thing by finding out all the info you can.
