I would like to add that for some of us if it is on THIS site for sale we assume that it is right and that the pups are being taken care of. If the "good" breeders don't point out the things that are not right then how will we know? I am not a breeder. I got Pepper from a petstore...who got him from a puppymill...I didn't know any better at the time and Pepper is paying for it. He is a very sick little guy with an illness that is crippling him...my point is this: If I had known about this site before I got him I would have known better because of the good breeders who share their expertise so freely...but if I had seen a puppy for sale at say 6 weeks (or younger) I would have assumed that was ok and that the puppy was ready to leave its mom..and I would have been wrong! We NEED for the good breeders to question what they think is wrong, so that we can make an informed choice. |
