[Sawyers mommy]

I took Sawyer to the vet yesterday for the same thing. I never see a flea, but my vet said one bite can drive them up the walls. He prescribed childrens benedryl, one half cc every 8 hours. Sawyer weighed a whooping 3 pounds and 1 ounce at 17 weeks, so your baby is bigger. My vet said he would rather try the benedryl than a shot first. It hasn't made Sawyer drowsy or anything, but it does seem to be helping with the itch. Good luck!
