Im really not sure what I would do if I had an eclampsia girl, would I breed her again or not? Guess Ill cross that bridge when I get there. Hope I dont have to cross it.
I think I would if the girl had an other wise healthy history. I have two girls that have never had a problem in whelping, but they tend to be thinner dogs, picker eaters, they bounce back slower after whelp, just dont gain back as quickly and they just, for a lack of a better word, just appear over all more fragile. If they had a problem with eclampsia I would say I would NOT breed them again. Its really an overall assessment I would think of the whole picture of the yorkie.
