I wouldn't give him to much cheese...chesse has alot of fat.....I feed Nutro Ultra Puppy and Adult (I have 2 yorkies) I also feed Nutro Ultra Puppy soft...I only put 3 little chunks in each dish and cut them up in small peices...so they are really getting alot but enough to coat the kibbles...Lillie (puppy) gobbles it right up..Sadie (adult) has always been a picky eater so she eats when she is ready but, it is the only thing I have tried that Sadie will eat. Giving the amount of soft that I do isn't going to hurt her and it's a good soft food. Maybe you could try a little bit of boiled chicken breast mixed with his food. I used to do this until I tried the soft food....got a little expensive though.
