Before we got Shelbs & SeySey, we had a mini schnauzer for 16 years. When she died, my husband and I mourned her for months. So did our cat. They were bestfriends. We said that we weren't going to go thru that again................ but then you think of all the joy.... and life here on earth always has an end. My vet told me that the BEST thing to do is jump right back in there and find a new friend...... giving a good home to a furkid is a great tribute to the life of your old friend. I like looking at it that way........ You don't forget, you just keep on giving.
