I use a shampoo that is suppose to add moisture to the skin and coat and keep it nice and healthy, it has fatty acids added to it. I get it from the vet but I believe you can get it at pet smart too. It is called DVM Pharmaceuticals Pet Relief shampoo. They also have a conditioner too. Usually by the third time you use the product you can see a big difference in their skin and coat. I use it on all my dogs and it works great.

I also use the cowboy magic, it helps some. Then I use the sea breeze oil by plush puppy and that really helps, I love the stuff, it is great!! I also give mine brewers yeast tablets and it helps the skin and coat too.
The one that makes the biggest difference is the Missing Link. Scampers hair use to be so dry and dull and brittle. Now he has beautiful silky hair since adding the ML to his food everyday.

Other than these couple of things, I don't know what to tell you. I hope you find something that works for you!!
