The UKC (united kennel club) is very big on working dogs. Every show I go to I meet a new pit bull owner and they are involved in conformation as well as weight pulls (which I love to watch).

May I suggest you call the UKC (they're super friendly and will help you) and ask them to send you in the direction of some of their featured breeders?

I used to be somewhat fearful of pit bulls. I was a victim of the stories over and over about "bad owners" and having them for the "wrong reasons". Well since meeting ALOT of them in person, and I'm talking very well bred, terrifically trained dogs, I have a new respect for them now. They are very gentle yet playful when in the RIGHT hands.

One of UKC's featured Pit bull breeders that I am familiar with is Pepper Wolter. Her Sires and Dams are Grand championed, weight pull titled and health tested. Her phone is (951)534-2627. I am posting her number because she AND her number are featured on the back of October's issue of Bloodline's magazine.
