I used the Lawry's and it seemed to work, but I also was concerned about the amount of salt. So I stopped and just waited to see if she had learned not to eat it, and of course, she is back at it again. So the salt is just a quick fix and not long lasting. The vet told me it was a learned habit, as a child biting their nails and needed to be discouraged. But to do it in such a manner as to not make them not want to go pooh. I even put tabasco on her pooh and she just licked it off. I don't know what to do. I just go out with her and stand with my poop shovel and wait till she's done and throw it away. But this last week, we went on vacation and my daughter watched my dogs. My mom was there and she saw her poop and eat it and about got sick. So I know we can't be there every time? I am willing to hear any other tricks anyone may have. Karma is only 5 months, so maybe she will outgrow it?
