They do get heavy after a bit. I would suggest getting a carrier that goes across your body or has straps for both arms. Any movement of there weight can throw you off, so the better they like being in a carrier the nicer it is to carry them. I would suggest getting them used to carrier as a pup. Also with a bigger pup, you need to get a bigger carrier, which will all but eliminate the prospect of sneaking them into places they are not allowed.
