 Pit bull tails & ears???
ok i have just recently started looking into breeders of local pit bulls . i would love to some day have my very own blue pit bull. the thing is the ones i have seen do not have the docked tails or ears ! someone just replied to my email and said they don't dock the tails as it would count off for the "showing" . well i thought most pits had their tails and ears done that's what gives them the pit look?!! i don't want a pit for show or anything else other than a pet!
we went to the fleas (people had poor animals for sale there hence the fleas) market yesterday and someone had red/rednose pits she said they were 12 weeks old they had the long tails and big floppy ears also. i wanted them all just to get them out of there. who would sale their dogs at a flea market YUCK! anyways...
well i guess i just want to know is it uncommon for someone to dock these dogs tails & ears now? i don't want to get a pup that's 6 weeks or older without it done then it's too late?!!
