Hi guys thanks for all your lovely comments. No one has called to claim poor old no name norman yet.
I took him for a walk with my two monsters and he went very well. (I kept him on lead while my two romped). He actually walked quite well on the lead. And he sits and stays (a little bit).
He's definitely not a terrier. There's no terrier attitude about him. He's gotta be about 22lbs but Dixie - 7lbs - bosses him around. Dougal's mellowed to Norman a bit. But Dixie's being a bit of an ice maiden. I'm really seeing her "aristocratic" side. Who'd have thought that a dog as short as Dixie could look down her nose at a dog 3 times her size!?
I'm beginning to wonder how long he's been roaming. His tail is just a solid mass of matted fur - except for a tuft at the end! He has been clipped across his back and hind legs but it might have been a while ago. He kept scratching so I de-flea-ed him and he seems to have calmed a bit. but then He wasn't starving when I fed him.
I don't know - I hope someone claims him. Poor old no name norman he needs a mum who can devote lots of time and love to just him. I was already feeling guilty for not sharing the love enough between two dogs!
Also if I want to keep more than two dogs I'm going to have to get special permission from the city council - not to mention my landlord!
